不塗脂抹粉，把自己化裝得花枝招展

不強顏歡笑，以花言巧語諂媚別人

不作血氣方剛盛氣凌人的倚劍少年

更不會為貪慕榮華富貴，用盡機巧

總是默立一旁，安守本分，不強出頭

只以自己真正的面目示人

這往往讓世俗不給看在眼裡

其實擋水堤堰用到，建築用到，擺飾用到

更有成為真珠寶玉的機緣

No try to look cheerful, fawn on others with sweet words

No do as the obstinate juvenile rely on sword overbearing others

No even to covet honour and wealth use the evil tricks

It always stands silently by one side, contents with his lot and knows his place, no force to show up

Just puts its true face before the public

This often let the common not think highly of it
