荷田歡笑著

一朵荷花就是一張笑臉

她們在水面上

水裡也有一張臉

河田有多大，便容有多少笑影

她們兀自歡笑著

在歲月裡愉快地過日子

不管夏天的烈日炙烤

不管夏天的豪雨轟擊

更不管夏天的熱浪圍堵

她們兀自歡笑著

夏蛙和鳴蟲在旁邊敲鼓、吹奏

蜻蜓、蝴蝶和鳥雀在旁邊舞蹈

花香和泥香到處噴發著

給她們助興

她們歡笑著

出自內心真正的歡笑

出自內心對夏天的讚頌

歡笑在水面和水裡相對映

荷田有多大，便容有多少笑影

Each lotus in the lotus pond

Is a laughing face

They stand gracefully

With their faces reflecting on water

The lotus pond is full of laughter

They keep laughing

And lead a happy life

Bearing the burning sun’s torment

Bearing rainstorm’s ravage

Bearing heat wave’s attack

They keep laughing

Frogs and insects play and drum by their sides

Butterflies, dragonflies and larks

Sing or dance nearby

For them

They keep laughing

To sing the praise of the summer heartfelt

No matter how large the lotus pond is

It is always full of laughter
