Director James Cameron has only himself to beat at the box office. Avatar, the sci-fi fantasy epic is smashing records–opening number one at the box office for four straight weekends.

Avatar has already railed in 1.3 billion dollars worldwide so far, making it the second highest grossing movie ever made.

And at that top spot is James Cameron’s other epic, Titanic, which sits at 1.8 billion.
