緊緊地，深情地

擁抱著我在它寬大的胸懷裡

不管我長得多大

不管我走到天涯海角

擁抱著我，以那幾椽低矮的小屋

小屋裡充滿的溫暖親情

擁抱著我，以屋前那個灰埕

灰珵裡洋溢的樂趣

擁抱著我，以屋後的果園

果園裡的芒果、蓮霧、柚子、龍眼、荔枝等果樹

擁抱著我，以廣闊的田野

田野種滿的水稻、蕃薯、蔬菜、豆子等農作物

擁抱著我，以碧綠的牧場

牧場裡悠閒、嚼草、活動的牛羊

擁抱著我，以樸實、樂觀的鄉民

鄉民臉上的微笑、口裡親切的話語

擁抱著我，故鄉

緊緊地，深情地

不管我長得多大

不管我走到天涯海角

我都能聞到它身上發出的泥香和土香

我都能感受到它特有的溫馨

我甚至全身帶著它的特殊形貌

我甚至講出的話也帶著它的特殊鄉音

Which is brimming with gusto

Embracing me, with the orchard behind the house

Which is full of mangoes, wax apples, grapefruits, longans, and litchi fruits

Embracing me, with the broad field

Which is thick with crops such as rice, sweet potatoes, vegetables, and beans

Embracing me, with the green pasture

Which is alive with leisurely moving and grazing cattle and sheep

Embracing me, with optimistic and unpretentious villagers

Whose faces are beaming, and whose words are dear

Embracing me, my hometown

Closely, affectionately

No matter how tall I grow

I can smell the fragrance from its mud and soil

I can feel its special warmth
