夕陽西斜了

造物正在天邊全神塗抹

意圖創造一幅多彩的畫

炊煙冉冉上升著

晚風以其纖纖柔指輕撫大地

將悶熱驅走

送給萬物以清涼和舒適

我雖已是從心所欲不逾矩的年紀

卻能享受晚風的輕撫

那是在田野

那是在水邊

那是在牧場

那是在鄉間

那是在夢裡的童年……

In the Evening Wind　 Hsu ChiCheng

The sun slants westward

The creator is besmearing with all attention

Intending to create a colorful painting

Kitchen smoke is curling and rising

The evening wind fondles the earth with its tender fingers

To dispel sultriness

To present everything with coolness and comfort

Though at the advanced age of over seventy

I can enjoy the caressing of evening wind

That is in the field

That is near the water

That is on the pasture

That is in the countryside

That is in the childhood of dream …
