语法
现在进行时:现在正在做的事情﹐我们把这个时态叫做现在进行时。现在进行时的构成是动词be
加上另一个动词﹐这个动词后面加ing. 我们以前学过be这个词。在用be这个词的时候﹐我们知道要根据句子前面的主语变化。比如说﹕be的变化
I am a student. 我是学生﹕
You are a student。 你是学生
He is a student. 他是学生
两个时态比较﹕
一般现在时﹐是指经常发生的事情﹐今天学的现在进行时﹐是指现在正在发生的事情。比如﹕I study Chinese. 我学中文。如果谁说I study 或者you study 这就是说他们常做这件事情﹐也许他们在学校上一门课。 I’m studying Chinese. 我在学中文呢。这里是I’m studying 而不是I study. 如果谁说“I’m studying”或 “you’re studying”就是说这个人在我们说话的时候手里有一本书﹐他也许是在看书或是在做作业。我们再比较一下对话里的句子。
I go downtown 我进城
I’m going downtown 我正往城里去

在句子里”Where are you going?” 中的 be变成了are.
A﹕Hello, Lee Ren De. Where are you going?
B﹕I’m going to school.
I’m going to school的意思是我去学校或者我去上学。这里的be又变成了am.
B﹕ Hey Ding Hui. Where are you going?
A﹕ I’m going downtown.(我进城。)
L﹕What are you doing? (你干什么呢)
A: I’m studying English. (我在学英语)
用不同的人称来练习一下现在进行时:
I am going to school
You are going to school
He is going to school
She is going to school
We are going to school
They are going to school.
大家注意﹐I 后面接am. You, we, 和 they 后面结 are﹐He 和 She, 和其他的单数名词如Mary 和 George后面结 is.
