加国逾60名议员连署 促政府制裁中港官员
【大纪元2020年07月15日讯】（大纪元记者周行多伦多报导）60多名加拿大国会议员、4名参议员、超过20个社区团体已在一份公开信上签名，要求加拿大政府使用《马格尼茨基法》制裁有关的中共及香港政府官员。
7月14日在Alliance Canada Hong Kong（加拿大香港联盟）网站公布的这封信，当天上午已经有65位现任加拿大国会议员、4名现任参议员、20多个社区团体签名。
这封信写给加拿大总理特鲁多、副总理方慧兰及外交部长商鹏飞。信中写道：“我们谨此连署，促请加拿大政府启用《外国腐败官员受害者正义法》（亦称马格尼兹基法案）S.C. 2017，c 21，针对在西藏、东突厥斯坦（新疆）及香港触犯侵害人权等罪行之官员实施制裁。”
该信表示，作为在国际人权领域的领袖，加拿大以《马格尼茨基法》的方式制裁这些官员，会是一个强有力的行动，也与加拿大过去运用这一法案的方式相一致。
联邦保守党的近半数国会议员已签署该信。签名表上未见保守党领袖熙尔（Andrew Scheer）、党领袖热门候选人麦凯（Peter MacKay）及奥图尔（Erin O’Toole）的名字，但他们之前都已公开表示，支持使用《马格尼茨基法》制裁中共官员。
已经在该信上签名的，还包括3位绿党议员、2位魁北克政团议员，2名自由党议员及1名新民主党议员。
4位签名的参议员是：侯萨科斯（Leo Housakos）、弗鲁姆（Linda Frum）、麦克弗兰（Marilou McPhedran）及达丰德（Pierre Dalphond）。卑诗省高贵林港市长韦斯特（Brad West）也签了名。
美国政府在7月9日宣布，对在新疆涉及侵犯人权的中共官员与实体进行制裁，冻结资产并禁止入境。被制裁的中共官员包括：中共中央政治局委员、维吾尔自治区党委书记陈全国；前维吾尔自治区党委副书记朱海仑；自治区公安厅厅长兼党委书记王明山；前自治区公安厅党委书记霍留军。被制裁的实体是新疆自治区公安厅。
6月下旬，13名加拿大参议员签署了由侯萨科斯共同撰写的一封信，信中称中共政府是“对人类的最大威胁”。
加拿大香港联盟已经向加拿大政府递交了一份希望制裁的官员名单，其中包括已经在美国制裁名单上的陈全国、朱海仑。另外还有中共政府现任公安部部长兼党委书记赵克志、现任中共中央政治局常委兼粤港澳大湾区建设领导小组组长长韩正、前香港警务处处长卢伟聪、现任香港警务处处长邓炳强。
