重新回来了，哈，重新回来了
那个下午
在纪州庵新馆
重新回来了，那些飞扬的青春
重新回来了，那些浓浓的诗意
只见每个人都难以遏抑地
神彩飞扬，满脸堆笑
见证人的肉体可能被时光打败
只有他——诗人
“用柔软如水的文字打败过时光”
从心里让人年轻不老
那些老人是上了从心所欲的年纪了
可是仍然是一支支燃烧的火炬
以其光和热
召回了青春的气息
召回了浓浓的诗意
连那些年轻人也被感染了
连那年老的古迹也被感染了
啊，黄昏的彩霞仍然那么辉煌！
啊，那原是大约五十年前的光景呀！
没什么好奇怪的
黄昏可以有晚霞灿烂
为什么诗意和青春不能重回？
显然这火将继续发挥潜在的巨大力量
日日，月月，年年……
注：由台北市文化局主办文讯杂志社承办的“青春结社——台湾资深大学诗社展”， 1月8日下午于台北市纪州庵新馆举行开幕式，并即展开一连串活动——除现场展出当年各诗社资料外，计9日及接下来每周六下午2至3:30的系列讲座，共6场，主要由当年活跃在各诗社的诗人担任，因反应良好，延展至3月27日。本诗作者曾获邀担任第二场四名讲述人之一。引号内诗句引自作者诗作【谁曾打败过时光】一诗，收在中英对照诗集《胎记》中。2011/5

Back, oh, back again
That afternoon
At Jizhouan New House
Back again, the flying youth
Back again, poems and poetry
Everybody is seen to be beaming
With hearty smiles
People’s flesh may be beaten by time
But only he — a poet
“Has defeated time with his lines soft as water”
Words keep the poet young of heart
Those old men are over seventy
But they are like one after another burning candle
With heat and light
The breath of youth is gained
Poems and poetry are gained
Even young people are touched
Even historical sites are touched
Oh, the rosy clouds of dusk remain brilliant!
Oh, a scene which has not been seen for fifty years!
No wonder
Dusk may be brilliant with the setting sun
Why can’t poetry and youth be regained?
The fire is going to bring potential into full play
Day after day, month after month, year after year …
Remark: On the afternoon of January 8, 2011, the opening ceremony of “Youth Society: Taiwan Collegiate Poetry Society Exhibition”, organized by the magazine of Wenhsun hosted by Taipei Municipal Bureau of Culture, is held at Jizhouan New House, Taipei, and a series of activities follow: besides exhibiting materials of various poetry societies in the past, six lectures on poetry are planned: 2—3:30 pm on January 9 and the following Saturday afternoons, to be delivered by poets who have been active in each then poetry society. Owing to the hit of the lectures, they are prolonged until March 27. The author has been one of the lecturers. “Has defeated time with his line soft as water” is quoted from Who Has Once Defeated the Times, a poem included into his Chinese-English poetry collection entitled Birthmark. 2011/5 @
