An informant from inside China's prison system has leaked news about the plight of renowned human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng--who disappeared over a year ago.

The anonymous insider told Sound of Hope that Gao underwent physical and psychological torture for nearly 60 days. The source said the level of torture was "beyond anyone’s imagination."

Gao was picked up on September 22, 2007 and taken to a secret location. The insider said Gao was stripped naked and attacked with electric batons. He was also deprived of sleep and beaten up.
高智晟在2007年9月22日被載走，被帶到一處秘密的地方。內部知情者說高律師被全身剝光衣服，並被數根電棒攻擊。他也被剝奪睡眠並被毒打。
